The Twin Hearts charm is an upgraded version of the Heart charm. While the damage reduction is greater, the two additional hitpoints are very useful. If one decides not to take Smoke Bomb on a boss, Twin Hearts can be a valuable replacement. On King Dice, the player can get upwards of 8 health with the Twin Hearts charm.
