The Shark is an enemy found in the Shootin N' Lootin level of Inkwell Isle Three.
Appearance[]
The Shark is a large, grey shark with a light gainsborough underbelly, and a cut in its head fin. It has yellow scleras, black pie-cut eyes, and razor sharp teeth. If the player damage it, its will close its eyes and retreat off the dock.
Characteristics[]
The Shark is summoned by Captain Brineybeard during the second and third phases.
Its head fin can be seen in the background, as it swims closer to the player, until it reaches the docks. A warning signal is heard, as it swims. It attempts to bite the player, after lunging to half of the docks. It will leave after this, though it can be summoned again later on.
Shooting the Shark at least once will increase its retreating speed by 30%. In Simple Mode, it will only cover the third plank after the first pole and shooting it will increase its retreating speed by 42%. In Expert mode, it will be covering up to the second pole (or the seventh plank after the first pole) and shooting it will increase its retreating speed by 18%.
